Cunninghambikes

The list of innovations attributable to Charlie Cunningham is astounding.  In his workshop he has laid the foundation for many technologies and designs which have defined bicycles since the mid-70s.  A creative perfectionist, his utilitarian work has a deceptive simplicity, almost roughness, that superficially hides the consideration applied to every aspect of design and construction.  Upon closer examination, however, the rough simplicity reveals itself as an almost organic beauty, as though Charlie didn't so much design rather he uncovered the inherent, and necessary, structure.
